Where, how, etc.?

Well, I have always felt that God was calling me to be an evangelist, and i fugure going on a mission trip would be a great idea, and a step closer to my calling. I would love the Youth group at my church to go, but i don't think they would be up to it. I know some of them would be excited about going, and others would not. But I'm still having a hard time finding one that i could go to in a week or maybe even two. I'm in California and would prefer mission trips out here. But still, if you have any info, i would appreciate your Good News! Thank you so much and God Bless all of you.

how do you know if God is calling you to go on a missions trip and to where. i really want to go on the missions trip to the brazil orphanage but i dotn want to if thats not where God wants me to go. I feel that it would be good for me to get away from where i am and grow closer to Christ and i would still be doing what he has given me the passion to do please email me a response at pooheew@att.net

Hi, I hope it's not too late reply, but one of the congregation memeber is a missionary with World Impact in urban LA. World Impack is doing some great mission work and they are having a weekend exposure. Here is a part of the letter that I got from her.

"One is an upcoming weekend in February called Weekend Exposure. It's three days of "exposure" to the inner city, and an orientation of World Impact's ministries (you don't necessarily have to come to LA either, there are ministries in Dallas, Newark, San Fran, San Diego, Wichita...etc). If you'd like more info, email me, and I'll have it sent to you ASAP (it's just around the corner! Feb.7-9)."
