Hello! I have a question for sending organizations. I know there has not been a lot of stastical research in short term missions. Roger Peterson has done some in the years past. Does anyone know a reliable statistic about the follow?
What percentage of career missionaries on the field today have had a prior short term mission experience? We have seen about 25% (in the last 5 years) that have had a prior short term mission experience with SEND International but do not have an accurate percentage of those who have had a prior short term mission experience with any other organization or church other than SEND.
