Hello! I have had a wonderful idea on my heart for a short term project, but I have absolutely no idea how to go about carrying it out. I would love to take a Praise and Worship team over to minister to the troops overseas. I was raised in a military household, and have a "soft spot" in my heart, as well as an intense respect for those who are serving our country. I was part of a team in college that toured some churches and schools in the east coast, and I am pretty sure that if I could figure out how to put the plan into motion, that I could get the team back together. Does anyone have any advice for me? I know that there is a huge amount involved in getting a project like this off the ground, and I am willing to make the effort, but don't know where to start. Thanks so much for your time!

One idea would be to contact a mission organization that ministers to military personnel posted oversease. One I am aware of is Cadence International. You could talk with them about your idea. Who knows they may be able to hook you up with one of their missionaries. Their website is http://www.cadence.org .
