About ShortTermMissions.com
This site exists to help people quickly connect with mission opportunities that fit their gifts and calling.
ShortTermMissions.com is coordinated, produced, and maintained by Mission Data International (M-DAT) and its volunteers. M-DAT is an 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry that provides web services to help people make it to the mission field.
On March 31st, 2000, M-DAT began working to accomplish a vision for mission organizations to partner together and provide a quality resource for short-term missions.
The vision became a reality when the website opened its doors to the public to “Start Finding Answers” to their short-term mission questions on December 16, 2000.
- To become a central place for people to learn about, interact on, and discover short-term mission trips.
- To provide an effective way for mission organizations to get the word out about their mission opportunities.
